Dora Alzamora Good
Dora Alzamora Good established her ceramic practice in 2014. Her studio is based in Deià, a small mountain town on the island of Mallorca where she creates unique, hand-thrown and handmade pieces made from a variety of stoneware clays. Her works are fired in a gas kiln that she converted from an electric kiln, finished with high-fire glazes and the use of primitive techniques such as black firing. She takes inspiration from her surroundings and the passing of time, often drawing from the enamelware she remembers as a child.
